Red Bus CDC NSW Partners With Coast Shelter To Drive Community Engagement

Red Bus CDC NSW is proud to announce a new Community Engagement agreement with Coast Shelter, a leading not-for-profit organisation providing specialist homelessness services and support programs on the NSW Central Coast. As part of this initiative, Red Bus CDC NSW will wrap one of its buses with the Coast Shelter brand to promote their important causes.

Coast Shelter has been serving the Central Coast for over 30 years, growing from humble beginnings into a pivotal organisation tackling homelessness, domestic and family violence, and poverty across the region. From its initial refuge in Gosford, Coast Shelter has expanded into a community housing provider with ten specialist homelessness services. Their mission is to end homelessness and domestic and family violence on the NSW Central Coast by offering safe accommodation, food, clothing, and access to personal support services.

Red Bus CDC NSW serves the Central Coast and Bateau Bay area. This partnership blends decades of industry experience and a rich family legacy to deliver exceptional bus services. Since 1940, The Entrance Red Bus Services Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s oldest bus operators, has been a family-owned business providing reliable transportation to the local community. With roots dating back to ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC), a subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Corporation in Singapore, Red Bus CDC NSW combines CDC’s global operational expertise with Red Bus’ 82-year legacy of excellence in the Central Coast region.

Through this partnership, Red Bus CDC NSW will help raise awareness and funds for Coast Shelter, supporting their essential services, shelters, and support programs for those in need. The bus wrap will serve as a mobile billboard, spreading the message of Coast Shelter’s mission and encouraging community involvement.

“We are excited to collaborate with Coast Shelter and support their vital work,” added the spokesperson. “Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone in our community.”

This initiative underscores Red Bus CDC NSW’s dedication to fostering strong connections within the community, ensuring that passengers not only reach their destinations safely and on time but also become part of a collective effort to support those in need on the Central Coast.
